Venue

Registration opens at 13:00 on July 29th at the Future Center, the U Tokyo Satellite Building next to Kashiwa-no-ha Campus Station. (photo on right).

The registration (13:00-18:00), workshops (13:00-17:00) and welcome reception (17:00 - 18:00) will be held in this Future Center Building.

The main conference days (30th, 31st, and 1st) will be held nearby at the University of Tokyo Kashiwa Campus (see photo and access at bottom of this page). Each day buses will be available from 08:25 and 08:45 from in front of the Future Center building.

Kashiwa-no-ha Smart City

Approximately 30 minutes from Akihabara Station on the Tsukuba Express.

The conference is held in Kashiwa campus, UTokyo, part of Kashiwa-no-ha smart city, whose concepts are “Environmental-Symbiotic City”, “New Industry Creation”, “Health and Longevity.”



Kashiwa Campus, University of Tokyo

In 1998, The University of Tokyo (UTokyo) established a new campus about 30 km northeast of Tokyo located in the Chiba prefecture, in the northern part of Kashiwa city, adjoining Kashiwanoha Park. The University consolidated several academic and research units since then. Now, the total number of faculties, graduate students, and researchers at Kashiwa Campus exceeds 3,100.
